CLAIMS BROKER

Our client is an independent (chartered) insurance brokerage who are looking to hire an experienced Claims Broker to join their business and establish their claims offering. 

 

The role entails providing first-class technical guidance to clients on any claim’s matters. Your main responsibility involves working with insurers and relevant parties to ensure the smooth running of the claims process. 

 

You are the type of person that will thrive on exceeding client expectations, and you take pride in your expertise, managing claims from start to finish effectively and efficiently.

 

Salary: £30k to £45k (depending on experience) plus extensive benefits. 

 

To be considered for this role;

  • You will need to have experience dealing with complex Motor Fleet claims
  • Previous experience dealing with PI, Combined and Management Liability claims
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end claims procedures along with knowledge using claims systems including MOJ & OIC portals
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Acturis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish strong relationships with colleagues, clients and insurers
  • Keep your clients informed and engaged by providing timely updates on relevant developments throughout their claims process.
  • Ensure utmost customer satisfaction by regularly evaluating claim statuses with clients, insurers, recovery agents, and solicitors.
  • Capable of offering sound technical guidance to clients throughout the entirety of their claim.
  • Maintain transparent communication with your Line Manager regarding any issues, inquiries, or areas of concern that may arise.
  • Efficiently manage claims and ensure that all pertinent information is accurately documented in the system.
  • Prioritise workload to serve clients while demonstrating exceptional administrative skills and a commitment to task completion.

Experience – a minimum of 2 years in a similar role is essential
