MOTOR CLAIMS TEAM LEADER

EXO Claims are working with one of the UK’s largest motor insurers and, due to continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced Motor Claims Team Leader. 

 

Salary: £30k to £40k (depending on experience) plus bonus and extensive benefits 

 

Duties

You will manage a team of motor claims handlers to ensure they provide excellent customer service and handle incidents professionally and quickly. 

 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Supporting customers and brokers through the motor claims process
  • Be able to understand and guide handlers in line with claims practices, procedures and philosophies.
  • Measure direct reports performance against KPI’s and SLA’s.
  • Identifying inefficiencies with processes and procedures and implement changes
  • Manage, motivate, deliver, set & monitor objectives of direct reports within the Team
  • Undertake regular performance reviews with team members
  • Ensure compliance to company reserving and payment philosophy.
  • Handle team technical referrals on a daily basis
  • Engaging with customers, claims teams, and third parties
  • Ensuring the team creates and maintains accurate claims management system records
  • Reviewing files handled by the team
  • Leading and managing the team of claims handlers
  • Ensuring the team provides the highest standards of customer service

  • Working closely with peers and line managers

Experience required: You will need to have 3 years or more experience working in a similar role.
