Our client is seeking a professional and experienced Legal Claims Handler to manage complaints, handle claims and liaise with insurers to ensure timely and accurate solutions. 

Salary: £30k to £40k (depending on experience) and plus extensive benefits

As a Legal Claims Handler, your duties and responsibilities will be as follows:-

• Assessing and managing a caseload of claims, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution within deadlines.
• Investigating claims thoroughly, gathering all relevant evidence and documentation.
• Responding to complaints received by the firm professionally and efficiently.
• Resolving disputes effectively and escalate complex matters when necessary.
• Collaborating with internal legal teams to ensure claims are aligned with regulatory and policy requirements.

You will bring the following experience to the Claims Handling team:-

• You will need to have 5 years plus claims handling experience, ideally within a law firm or insurance environment.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures and relevant legal principles.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet and other legal research tools.
• Professional demeanour and the ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders.
