Overview 

EXO Claims are seeking a Credit Hire Motor Claims Handler with a wide ranging skill set and experience of managing credit hire claims.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and clerical skills, enabling them to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Salary: £30k to £38k (depending on experience) plus extensive benefits

As a Credit Hire Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for actively supporting the department in providing a customer focused, cost efficient claims handling service by a pro-active approach to claims handling that puts customer service as the core value whilst operating within a regulatory framework.

Duties 

• Manage a portfolio of credit hire claims of most complexity and value
• Managing claim enquiries, coverage determination, quantum analysis and legal liability assessment and providing a strong standard of customer service.
• Ensuring effective vendor and litigation management on motor claims within your allocation.
• Review incoming claims for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided. 
• Process claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements. 
• Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to gather additional information as needed. 
• Maintain accurate records of claims processed, including updates and status changes in the system. 
• Identify discrepancies or issues within claims and work to resolve them promptly. 
• Assist in the development of process improvements to enhance efficiency within the claims processing department. 
• Provide support to team members and participate in training sessions as required.

Experience 

• At least 2 years Credit Hire Motor Claims experience is required. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. 
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. 
• Familiarity with insurance processes for personal injury claims is essential. 
• Proficient in using standard office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for liaising with various stakeholders.
